Amazon Adding Sales Tax Means Coloradans Will Have To Pay Up

Beginning Feb. 1, Colorado consumers will start paying more when they order from Amazon.com -- and state and local tax coffers are expected to reap the benefits. Until now, Colorado was one of about 23 states where the company doesn't impose sales taxes.
