As the 2018 legislative session drew to a close, lawmakers reached deals to shore up the state retirement fund, solve a controversy over the Colorado Civil Rights Division and change liquor sales laws.
CPR News legislative reporter Sam Brasch tells Colorado Matters the legislature also boosted transportation spending and referred a ballot measure on redistricting to voters. Throughout the session lawmakers dealt with a sexual harassment scandal that led to formal complaints against at least five members.
