Most of Colorado is abnormally dry or experiencing exceptional drought. The state's water stores in snow packs, reservoirs and aquifers are running low, and the impact is being felt. A recent Washington Post report found that fishing and rafting companies are affected by low water levels, and this week Aspen enacted the city's first-ever stage 2 water restrictions indefinitely.
