Todd Bol's mother was a teacher. To honor her, he built a model of a one-room schoolhouse. After filling it with books, Bol set it on a post and put it in his front yard. That was in Wisconsin in 2009. The idea caught on and there are now Little Free Libraries around the world.
Bol is in Colorado this week to recognize Denver as a "city of distinction." There are more than 500 Little Free Libraries in the metro area.
Bol speaks with Colorado Matters host Ryan Warner.
