A drummer-less rock band, a jamgrass act and a rock n' roll bluegrass troupe have all been used to describe the sound of Greensky Bluegrass.
The musical quintet, which won the 2006 Telluride Bluegrass Festival band contest, released a new album last month. It's called "Shouted, Written Down & Quoted."
Mandolin player and singer Paul Hoffman lives in Denver. Singer and guitarist Dave Bruzza lives in Fort Collins. They spoke with Colorado Matters host Nathan Heffel.
