Becca St. John's film "Rock Bottom" is a case history of how, even early in life, an intimate relationship can become abusive.
St. John's film, which she made last year while attending the Youth Documentary Academy in Colorado Springs, describes her transformation from a happy, fun-loving kid to a teen whose every move, from what she wears to whom she associates with, is decided by her controlling and ultimately abusive boyfriend.
Her story, which was screened this month at the Scout Film Festival for young filmmakers in Stowe, Vermont, is told through interviews with family and friends.
