Denver Broncos UK is a project featuring four members of longtime Denver music staple Slim Cessna's Auto Club. Perhaps it goes without saying the band has no affiliation to the NFL team of similar name.
Featuring Auto Club/Munly & the Lupercalians frontmen Munly Munly and Slim Cessna, Denver Broncos UK maintains the spookiness of those other projects but with a stripped-down acoustic aesthetic that's more of a gothic-folk slow burn than an alt-country rave up.
In between songs, OpenAir host Alisha Sweeney spoke with the band members about the process of switching between acts on stage, whether Denver Broncos UK requires more or less concentration (depending on who you ask) and the status of the band's debut album.
