Convenience stores in Colorado are one step closer to being able to sell full strength beer. It marks the first time a bill loosening beer laws has ever passed out of a committee. The house business affairs and labor committee cleared the measure on a 7-4 vote, after hours of debate and objections from the craft brewing industry, and independent liquor stores who say it could put them out of business.
