When the curtain goes up at Denver’s Curious Theatre next week, one of the actors is supposed to smoke a cigarette. It's in the script. But, technically, that's illegal under the Colorado Clean Indoor Air Act, the new smoking ban. Artistic Director Chip Walton wants an exception for live performances. With the support of two other area theaters, he’s taking the state, and the smoking ban, to court. Walton talks to Ryan Warner.
