When Reptar played three shows in Denver this summer, each audience transformed into a dance party. The Athens, Georgia electro-rockers have been touring extensively since forming in 2008, but it wasn't until playing South By Southwest last year that they reached the next level. After being approached by a number of labels, they picked Vagrant Records to release their debut album, Body Faucet, out May of 2012.
Listen here to singer-guitarist Graham Ulicny chat about Reptar's whirlwind year, provide advice for other up and coming bands, and discuss how their songs take on a life of their own onstage.
You can catch the band touring back through Denver on September 14th at The Bluebird Theater with Rubblebucket.
