Much was lost during this past summer's flooding in Manitou, including many personal items. The Big Something went to Fountain Creek to try rescue what we could from the banks. Though it's impossible to know which objects were washed away in the floods, and which found their way to the river through other means, we discovered a wide variety of items from lost pictures to construction materials and, inexplicably, lots of vent grating.
The Big Something will do a pop-up exhibition of these items on November 8 at The Manitou Art Center (formerly The Business of Art Center) in the foyer gallery of Venue 515, 515 Manitou Avenue, from 5 to 8 p.m.
