DENVER:
A Taste of Colorado
Aug. 29 to Sept. 1
Civic Center Park
This free event features more than 50 area restaurants and food trucks, ranging in a variety of ethnic flavors and cuisines. There is also live music, carnival rides and the KidzStage, where families can enjoy magic acts, clown routines and puppets.
BOULDER:
The Catamounts present “FEED: Kids”
Aug. 17 at 5 p.m.

The Catamounts, a Boulder-based theater troupe, presents its first-ever, family-friendly culinary-theatrical experience. Over a four-course seated dinner, Catamounts actors and singing-songwriting duo Jeff Kagan and Paige Doughty, who specialize in science and nature music for kids, entertain diners.

Colorado Springs Philharmonic “Free for Kids” concerts

For it’s 2013-2014 season, the Colorado Springs Philharmonic is launching a new program that offers complimentary tickets for ages 7 to 17 with the purchase of an adult admission to experience the repertoire of classical masters like Brahms, Mozart and Beethoven.

Snow Mountain Ranch
The YMCA encourages kids, teens, parents and grandparents to engage in traditional summer camp activities at this family camp in the Rocky Mountains. Activities on offer include arts and crafts, archery, hiking, tie dye and canoeing.
