Music lovers: Get your picnic baskets, blankets and listening ears ready. Swallow Hill Music today announced the lineup for the 2015 summer concert series at the Denver Botanic Gardens.
The schedule kicks off with some hometown musicians when bluegrass band Hot Rize headlines on June 16. The dates include performances by a range of artists from indie folksters Shovels & Rope to reggae prince Ziggy Marley to the Jazz at Lincoln Center Orchestra.
Appropriately, the remaining members of Cuban act Orquesta Buena Vista Social Club will close out the 2015 series at the York Street site -- one of two concert locations -- on Aug. 22 during the band's farewell "Adios" tour.
