returns to Vail for the 27th annual Vail International Dance Festival in August.
While the festival brings in well-known dance artists from around the world, performances by Colorado artists have been rare throughout the event’s history. The only other time Colorado Ballet performed as a featured company at the festival was in 2011.
The ballet’s artistic director Gil Boggs says this is an opportunity for “dance fans from around the world to see [the ballet’s] talent firsthand.”
The company will have several performances from Aug. 2 to Aug. 10.
