Authorities searched a park in Loveland as part of the investigation into a series of apparently random roadside shootings in northern Colorado.
About two dozen FBI and members of local law enforcement participated in Thursday's search. Some used metal detectors to search a grid pattern marked by string tied to wood posts. A smaller group dug in mulch in a landscaped area.
