Colorado continues to be a major destination for presidential hopefuls. Former Florida Gov. Jeb Bush is holding a town hall near Denver Tuesday.
Bush’s event is his first official Colorado campaign event, and focuses on his proposal to overhaul the Veteran’s Administration.
The event comes as the Veterans Administration struggles with cost over-runs and other obstacles to building a new hospital to treat veterans from the region. Bush is expected to hammer the Obama administration for its handling of veterans' issues.
Bush also attended a fundraiser in Colorado Monday night. Colorado’s Republican presidential caucus is next spring.
