Cars on Denver's south Broadway will cede a lane to cyclists -- but just for the weekend.

Bike Denver, an advocacy and education group, spearheaded the lane switcheroo between 1st and Bayaud avenues. Bike Denver says the event will kick off the public input process for a possible permanent bike corridor along Broadway.
