Wax those skis and dig your boots out of storage, Colorado. Loveland Ski Area has announced it will open in just three days -- Oct. 29.
And CBS Denver reports that just across the Continental Divide, Arapahoe Basin says it hasn't yet set an open date. Traditionally, the two ski areas compete over which will open first.
Copper Mountain, Keystone and Wolf Creek are set to open Nov. 6.
