The remake of the National Western Stock Show complex will get state tourism dollars, the Colorado Economic Development Commission decided Thursday. The amount of funding hasn't been decided -- that will be determined by the end of the year.
This month, voters in Denver County approved a key piece of financing for the stock show plan. And the Legislature approved $250 million in funding earlier this year.
“Denver is grateful to the State for its thoughtful consideration and critical commitment of funding to National Western Center,” Mayor Hancock said in a statement.
