Bustang is expanding to some weekend service starting Saturday.
Since its start in July, the interregional bus service has connected Front Range cities in addition to providing service along the I-70 corridor.
The western route in particular has been popular, says Amy Ford of the Colorado Department of Transportation.
"We have certainly heard from folks who live in Summit County and Clear Creek County and beyond actually that these routes were actually something that they looked for," says Ford. It's a great way of providing choice in how they got into Denver and boy has that been a great success."
In response to demand, CDOT will be adding weekend Bustang service to the west route.
Busses will travel from Glenwood Springs to Denver in the morning, and then head back west in the late afternoon.
