Get ready to pay sales tax if you buy on Amazon in Colorado. The company says it will start collecting the tax Feb. 1.
Previously, Amazon expected customers to pay Colorado the sales tax, but now the company says it will collect it directly from customers, reports the Denver Business Journal, which first reported the story.
Amazon currently collects the fee for items shipped to 27 other states.
