London-based artist Oscar first came to our attention last year with his "Beautiful Words" EP and singles like "Daffodil Days." Last week he released his debut full-length, "Cut And Paste."
Like Morrissey and Jens Lekman before him, Oscar's melancholy baritone sometimes betrays the liveliness of his pop-inspired music. On "Sometimes," the opening track on "Cut And Paste," he melds fuzzy guitar chords with electronic pop instruments for a bouncy introduction.
