Mesa County emergency management officials are warning people who live near a massive landslide area in the eastern part of the county to be ready to evacuate after water from spring runoff began overflowing from a pond.
Sheriff's spokeswoman Megan Terlecky says authorities are going door-to-door warning people in about 30 homes of the potential danger. No injuries or serious damage have been reported. A flash flood watch has been issued for the area.
