Colorado's Michelle DeYoung is a Grammy-winning singer who performs on the world's most prestigious opera stages. The mezzo-soprano has performed in numerous productions with the Metropolitan Opera in New York and performs with the world’s top orchestras.
DeYoung recently joined CPR Classical’s Monika Vischer for an hour of music and conversation in the CPR Performance Studio.
The singer talked about the big break that led her to the Met Opera, working with top conductors and why she still calls Colorado home.

DeYoung performs at the Colorado Music Festival in Boulder on Thursday and Friday, and at the Aspen Music Festival and School in recital at Harris Concert Hall on July 25.
