Methyl Ethel won over a legion of Denver music fans with an outdoor performance at the 2016 Underground Music Showcase. The Australian quartet returned to Denver this month after releasing its sophomore LP, "Everything Is Forgotten." The band finds a catchy mix of pop, rock and electronica on that new record.

Methyl Ethel stopped into the CPR Performance Studio before a show at the Bluebird Theater. The band members played songs from "Everything Is Forgotten" and spoke with Alisha Sweeney about winning three Western Australian Music Awards for the new album, signing to 4AD Records and plans for their next record.
