The 12-day festival, which opens the end of the month, showcases a number of other films by Colorado filmmakers or have a connection to the state, including “We are Columbine,” that follows survivors of the 1999 shooting and what their search for closure means for today’s youth. There's also "The Weight of Water," which is from a local filmmaker and is the story of Erik Weihenmayer, who is blind, kayaking through the whitewater rapids of the Colorado River.
The annual event also includes exhibitions of shorts and music videos, as well as virtual reality experiences. Tickets go on sale to the general public Oct. 12, 2018.

“The Favourite”
Emma Stone, Rachel Weisz and Olivia Colman star in this film set in early 18th Century England. Red carpet presentation of “The Favourite” is opening night of the festival, Oct. 31, 2018.
“Vox Lux”
A teen makes music about a traumatic experience and becomes famous. Starring Natalie Portman.
