4th of July Block Party with Stillhouse Junkies

Highlighting our annual 4th of July Block Party, Green Box is thrilled to welcome Stillhouse Junkies back to Green Mountain Falls, following their artist residency in 2023. A crowd-thrilling trio, the Durango-bred band offer up a hypnotic and high-energy form of roots music anchored in the free-flowing interplay among the three lifelong musicians (Fred Kosak on guitar and mandolin, Cody Tinnin on upright bass, Alissa Wolf on fiddle). While they’ve gained major traction in the bluegrass world in recent years — including winning the IBMA Momentum Band of the Year award in 2021—Stillhouse Junkies ultimately inhabit a genre – blurring and subtly inventive sound informed by everything from blues to classical to Texas swing.
Green Box Arts is a non-profit arts organization located in the beautiful town of Green Mountain Falls. Only a short, 20-minute drive west of Colorado Springs, the town of Green Mountain Falls has a unique arts scene, centered in public art, performing arts, and unique workshops with something for everybody. Enjoy this arts-centered community and all it has to offer this summer for the annual Green Box Summer Arts Festival from July 1st- July 14th.
