A Conversation with Colorado’s New State Historian

Join us for an evening of conversation with Colorado's new state historian, Dr. Claire Oberon Garcia. Colorado Matters host Chandra Thomas Whitfield will interview Dr. Garcia in KRCC's community room in the Southern Colorado Public Media Center. Chandra will ask Dr. Garcia about what she hopes to achieve as the state's new historian and to share the experiences of Black women whose stories have been untold or underappreciated.
