Cottonwood Center for the Arts is proud to present a juried exhibition for the month of August, composed of artists from across the Pikes Peak region and beyond.

Contemporary Realism is an art movement which uses representational techniques to capture current subject matter and compositions. August’s call for entries asks artists to study their subject with a faithful eye, showing us a glimpse of modern life, culture, and/or experience. The goal is to communicate essential qualities that get at the “real” and not the “ideal”.

Enjoy two floors of open studios + galleries on First Friday and all month long during normal business hours at Cottonwood Center for the Arts.
