"An evening of intimate chamber music with commentary. A fugue by JS Bach is paired with 17th-century German and Austrian composers (Biber, Buxtehude, Bertali, Weckmann, Westhoff, and Schenck) showing Bach's connection with his forebears. Violinist Cynthia Miller Freivogel and harpsichordist Frank Nowell are joined by Martin Davids, violin and Zoe Weiss on viola da gamba."
