The Denver Brass will present a concert, Celtic Awakening, to support One Simple Voice at Mt. Carmel Veterans Service Center at 7 p.m. on Saturday, Sept. 28 at the Ent Center for the Arts, 5225 N. Nevada Ave. in Colorado Springs.

The concert will feature Celtic music and performances including Scottish dancers, bagpipers, vocalists, and instrumentalists.

This year’s concert honors Jay Cimino, former CEO of Phil Long Enterprise who passed away in February 2024.

The Denver Brass is a 14-person ensemble founded in 1981 by Kathy and Chuck Brantigan. It is now a nationally recognized group that performs original compositions and arrangements. Each year, the Denver Brass reaches more than 50,000 people through more than 140 concerts.

The Colorado Springs concert is $45 a ticket, $35 for military members and veterans. This is the second year of the concert put on by One Simple Voice, the spiritual arm of Mt. Carmel Veterans Services Center.
