Documentary Academy Master Class

Join Youth Documentary Academy Founder and Executive Director Tom Shepard as we present his 2019 film UNSETTLED, an award-winning film about LGBTQ+ refugees who flee their home countries to find safer lives in the U.S. UNSETTLED premiered at the San Francisco International Film Festival and broadcast nationally on the PBS series Doc World. Tom will be in conversation with El Paso County Poet Laureate (and 2024 YDA instructor) Ashley Cornelius.
