Donuts for Dogs
When
Event Description
It's the day of the dog! Dedicated to raising awareness about our African painted dogs and their status in the wild. The event begins at 9:30 with donuts and guest speaker, Wilton Nsimango with the Zimbabwe organization, Painted Dog Conservation. He will share his experiences, successes and challenges of working to conserve this extremely endangered species. With a mission "to promote appreciation and understanding of the natural world" it is ultimately our hope that our inspiring animals, up close experiences and education programs will increase awareness about global conservation issues and ultimately inspire YOU to become involved, along the Pueblo Zoo, in making a difference for animals in the world. A special Keeper Talk and crafts and games will take place at the Painted Dog exhibit area. Participation requires Zoo admission.
Donuts and speaker limited to first 50 attendees.
