The presenters are:
Fran Herbert, M.Ed., CCC-SLP, co-owner of RISE-PD, Responsive Inclusive Strategic Education (RISE)- Professional Development. RISE-PD has developed and delivers innovative courses certified by the state to meet educator licensing requirements.
Lourdes “Lulu” Buck, M.Ed., Coordinator of Educational Equity and Family Engagement for St. Vrain Valley School District, and author of Sue’s Sky, which uses the gentle metaphor of the sky to encourage young readers to accept others' perspectives of the world around them.
As a state trainer for cultural responsiveness and equity for districts and schools, Lulu had the honor of training thirty-eight Colorado school districts.
