Gallery 113’s Featured Artists for June-Jane Hammoud, potter, and Suzy McDowell, painter, both do artwork that reflects the powerful interaction between a sense of place, Colorado, and the art of design. Just in time for the colorful season, Jane will present bold peacock designs on bowls along with a nod to the Arts and Crafts movement in her newest work. Suzy’s large, bold-colored canvases of Colorado’s mountains, waterfalls, and sunsets are always cheerful reminders of what our state stands for and the joy of each new season.
