Event Description

The second annual GRIT conference is an opportunity to join other individuals passionate about resilience, community and personal development. Keynote speakers include Hunter Kemper, U.S. Olympian; Elycia Cook, CEO of Big Brothers Big Sisters; Mike Edmonds, headmaster at The Colorado Springs School; Meg Fredrick, co-founder and executive director of the Mindfulness and Positivity Project; Jeff Kenefsky, co-founder of the Mindfulness and Positivity Project, teacher at Cheyenne Mountain High School; Dr. Chip Benight, executive director of the Lyda Hill Institute for Human Resilience; Yemi Mobalade, mayor of Colorado Springs, and Jennifer Sobanet, chancellor at UCCS.

In addition to the speakers, participants will be able to explore the core methods of the GRIT program and learn how to apply them and participate in interactive learning opportunities designed to deepen their understanding of resilience.
