Happy Hour Chamber Concerts: Interlude: Ann Marie Morgan and Harumi Rhodes

"We begin our eleventh season with an opportunity to hear a concert we needed to postpone during the pandemic. Ann Marie Morgan and Harumi Rhodes offer us this wonder treat, sandwiching Renaissance two-part imitative pieces and dances between music of J.S. Bach – both from the two-part inventions/sinfonias and from the Goldberg Variations. There will also be a departure into a composition for voice and viol created by Ann Marie during the pandemic based, in part, on music and words from the 15th and 16th centuries and a breath of 18th century French Baroque music."
