"Italian native Roberto Plano captured international attention when he won the 2001 Cleveland International Piano Competition. Former Professor of Piano at the University of Indiana, Plano will join the faculty of two different European schools in the fall of 2023: The Royal Northern College of Music in Manchester, U.K. and the Conservatorio Della Svizzera Italiana in Lugano, Switzerland. Plano now performs regularly across the globe, appearing with prestigious orchestras and festivals. His effervescent personality makes him a favorite on radio and TV programs."
