First Universalist Church: Invitation to the Wild: New Music from Walden School and Friends

"What sort of music are people writing here in Colorado? Join us for an afternoon of heartfelt and playful new works by Colorado-based composers and their friends. Every piece tells a story, whether it’s through words, dance, or instruments. Kim Robards has choreographed two of these works: 'Daddy-Daughter Waltz' is a tender and uplifting piece exploring family bonds, while 'Invitation from the Chair' is the graphic dialogue of an anguished and resistant patient with an imploring and healing psychiatric chair. In addition to dancers, vocalists and small chorus will add poetry and texture to three of the pieces."
