CPR Classical is proud to present The Spirituals Project Spring Concert on May 13 at the Newman Center for the Performing Arts. From the website:
"The Spirituals Project was founded to preserve and revitalize the music and teachings of the sacred folk spirituals, originally created by African Americans in slavery. The choir's repertoire highlights these spirituals, and also includes music from the African American experience."
