Event Description

The Colorado College Department of Music presents Live from Packard Hall, featuring faculty performances, beginning at 3 p.m. Tuesday, April 18.

Admission is free and open to the public.

The program begins with clarinet duo Daryll Stevens and Pam Diaz performing Mangani’s Duo Sonata for Two Clarinets. Stephanie Brink, mezzo-soprano, will sing Heggie’s The Deepest Desire: Four Meditations on Love, accompanied by Daniel Brink, piano. Jeri Jorgensen, violin, Gerald Miller, cello, Stevens, clarinet, and Ricky Sweum, alto saxophone, then take the stage for Iddo Aharony’s “neshima.” The afternoon concludes with selections announced from the stage performed by jazz pianist Steve Barta.
