Manitou Christmas Parade
When
Event Description
’Twas weeks before Christmas, in fair Manitou town,
When merriment bubbled and joy trickled down.
A parade, oh so splendid, draws near on the date,
The eighth of December—come early, don’t wait!
Down Manitou Avenue, where lamplights will gleam,
A vision of Christmas, a holiday dream.
With family in tow, and your dearest of friends,
Wrap’d up and warm, where the magic transcends.
At the sixth hour’s chime, the procession shall start,
From Ruxton to El Paso, it’ll gladden your heart.
See children delight at a wondrous sight,
The man all in crimson, with beard snowy white.
The air shall be merry, the lights all aglow,
As songs fill the night and the laughter does grow.
Stay on for a feast, by the hearth's gentle flame,
And browse for fine trinkets—your list to proclaim!
Raise high “Season’s Greetings!” with spirits so bright,
And revel in cheer through the starry-lit night.
Oh, come one and all to this festive parade,
Where memories linger and magic is made!
