Event Description
"The variety of music on this free, kid-friendly program reflects the many styles and genres of music you can experience at the MMF. Percussionist/composer Andy Akiho’s avant-garde 21 is based on Bach’s G minor Fugue. Chopin evokes Polish Nationalism’s formal elegance in the salons of Paris. Guitarist Jason Vieaux plays Pat Metheny’s latest work for solo guitar. And soprano Corinne Winters gives us selections from the American Songbook."
