A Musical Journey of Loneliness and Love
Two-time GRAMMY-nominated soprano Lindsay Kesselman joins us for "Songs from the End of the World," which imagines the famous story from the Odyssey of Calypso’s island, but sung in the voice of the nymph herself. She spends seven years weaving a tapestry for her newfound love, Odysseus, only to have to unravel the threads to create a sail for him to voyage away. This new composition is joined by one of the greatest works of the Baroque era - Bach’s Brandenburg Concerto No. 6, in a musical journey of loneliness and love.
