Event Description
Two powerhouses of independent performance are sharing the stage to create a show like no other.
Parker Millsap quickly made a name for himself with his captivating live performances, soulful sound, and character-driven narratives. His early releases showcased a mastery of acoustic folk rock, with their flourish for revelation and fiery dynamics. He’s appeared on CONAN, performed with Elton John, and shared a stage with folks like Jason Isabell, Shovels & Rope, Patty Griffin, Houndmouth, and many others.
Jonathon Linaberry is no stranger to putting in the work. Born and raised in central New York, he got his start playing in hardcore and punk bands before becoming enamored with the field recordings of Alan Lomax, who documented rural American blues, folk, and gospel musicians throughout the 1930s and ’40s. Inspired by the unvarnished honesty of those vintage performances, Linaberry launched The Bones of J.R. Jones in 2012, operating as a fully independent artist. He’s landed songs in film and TV including Suits, Daredevil, Longmire, and Graceland, and toured the U.S. and Europe countless times as a one-man-band.
