Event Description

About:
Musicians of the 17th and 18th centuries weren’t any different from people today. They too experienced lives brimming with exploits and intrigue; possessing vibrant personalities and led fascinating lives. As we remove the veneer of their powdered white wigs and dignified portraits, we uncover the obscured narratives of their pasts and their exquisite musical creations. Join Parish House Baroque for these fun-filled concerts where you will be swept away into the wonders of baroque music performed by Colorado Springs’ only professional early music ensemble along with guest violinist Jeffrey Smith.
Performances will be held in the beautiful Peel House at First Lutheran Church. Reception to follow.
