"Seicento Baroque Ensemble presents 'Noel: Christmas in the Late Renaissance and Early Baroque' with founding director, Evanne Browne, returning to the podium. The choir performs music by Palestrina, Victoria, Scheidt, Sweelinck, Rossi, and the prolific Anonymous. Audience members are invited to sing along with two stunningly beautiful carols familiar to today’s listeners, including 'Lo, How a Rose E'er Blooming.' Guest artists are Wesley Leffingwell, organ; Steve Winograd and Linda Lunbeck, recorders; and Joseph Howe, baroque cello."
