Simon Shackleton presents The Shadowmaker (World Premiere)

The Shadowmaker is an emotionally charged journey from the shadows to the light. Part live-music concert, part documentary, and all heart, it explores life-defining challenges – struggle and triumph, fear and joy, love and loss, hesitation and resolve. While anchored to Simon Shackleton’s deeply personal experiences – from DJ stardom to wrestling with inner conflict and eventually finding his emotional voice through music – this is a universal story of navigating life’s chaos.

Created by the award-winning British producer and his filmmaker wife Chele Gutek, this unique show – the first of its kind from an electronic producer – features live performance of songs from Shackleton’s upcoming ‘The Shadowmaker’ album. Renowned for igniting dancefloors and festivals worldwide with his epic DJ sets as Elite Force, this time out Simon – now a Denver resident – showcases his talents as a vocalist and keyboardist, accompanied by world-class drummer Jez Noble. Their live musicianship amplifies the show’s cinematic intensity, as Shackleton brings echoes of Pink Floyd, Massive Attack, David Bowie and Thom Yorke to his stunning new compositions of introspective electronica.

While Simon’s emotive music is the heartbeat of the show, Chele’s filmmaking adds depth and soul through slivers of archival footage and intimate interviews. Driven by a passion for storytelling as a catalyst for change, Chele's full-length Shadowmaker documentary is slated for submission to film festivals later this year – and Denver guests have an exclusive opportunity to be part of it. Cameras will be rolling during the post-show reception, and we welcome guests to share their experiences and add their voices to The Shadowmaker story.

The Shadowmaker show takes place at the historic Holiday Theater. Originally built in 1914, this stunningly renovated venue now features plush seating and a modern bar serving signature cocktails and cinema-style snacks, making it a perfect setting for this immersive journey.
