Why Support the World Affairs Challenge?
The World Affairs Challenge is an international program for middle and high school students to create innovative solutions that tackle sustainability issues, guided by the UN Sustainable Development Goals. Young people gain critical, transferable skills while embracing the interconnectedness of the world in formulating their solutions. In the words of a former WAC student, “It’s not us versus them, we’re all in this together! We’re all trying to solve [these] problems as one.”

Your support:

Directly funds the participation of student teams in the program
Enables WorldDenver to reach over 800 students each year in Colorado and 11 countries around the world
Facilitates relevant, adaptable curriculum for teachers based on the UN Sustainable Development Goals
Creates the opportunity for students to connect with subject matter experts and community members making change
Shows students that their voices and actions matter to the world!
