St. Martin’s Chamber Choir: American Renaissance

"Our Fall Cameo concert often contains music of the Renaissance. This year we will focus on a Renaissance of a different sort – the blossoming of choral composition by American composers in the early 20th century, including many African American composers -- William Grant Still, Florence Price, Nathaniel Dett – as well as Amy Beach, Horatio Parker, Leo Sowerby, George Chadwick, and others."
